My name is Melissa, I'm twenty years old and have been doing makeup for a little over four years now. I started playing around with makeup when I was about thirteen and began to actually excel at it around the age of sixteen. I worked at a Lancome makeup counter for 8 months, and during that time I learnt a lot of new application techniques, as well as being able to recognize face shapes and the preferences of clients. I have worked with young and more mature clients, doing anything from wedding to grad makeup. I began doing makeup professionally in 2008, starting with my class graduation. To date I have done several amateur photoshoots, wedding makeup, and grad makeup. I love working with all sorts of people, and making them feel beautiful! I'm a really fun person to be around, I get along with almost anyone. At first I can be a little shy, but I definitely try my hardest to keep a conversation going and to keep it interesting. I can be extremely random, and I'm all about laughing and having a good time!
I'm really organized, down to earth, and stubborn at times. I'm constantly told that I'm very mature for my age, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun ;)
I'm a very loyal person, I would do anything for my family and for my friends. I love my friends to death and their opinions mean a lot to me. I've got a great head on my shoulders, I know what I want in life and I will do anything to succeed and make something of myself. I do not let other people bring me down. I am my own person and know that life is what I make of it! For the most part, I tend to keep a pretty positive outlook on life and take things one day at a time. I have a lot of respect for myself as well as the many other amazing people in my life ♥
